The Clementes blow out the Senators 15-3 on Saturday’s day game. Alex Preston #55 lead the pitching performance with three solid Innings giving up zero hits and recording one strikeout. He was followed by Samil Vizcaino #26 who threw more three innings and recorded another strikeout. Alex Cruz #20 and and Leury Gomez #16 closed out the last three innings with a combined 6 strikeouts but giving up 3 earned runs.
The Offense was quiet for the first three innings until the 4th inning where the Clementes were able to scrape a run off after a leadoff triple by Dylan Heil #9 followed by a RBI ground ball by Steve Rodriquez #24. Montes Jr. would score in the 5th on a fielding error by the Senators first baseman. The Clementes would open up the scoring in the 6th and never look back, Ending the day with 15 runs on 17 hits. Jim and Jake Whitlinger (#99 and #1) combined for 7 hits over 9 ABs to lead the Clementes offense
