The Clementes hand the Arlington Mallards their first loss of the season by a score of 11-2. Leury Gomez #16 threw 5 scoreless innings with 4 K’s while only allowing 3 hits. He would be followed by Alex Cruz #20 who allowed 2 runs on a couple of hits batsman and 3 hits. Hector Lopez-Reyes #6 and Samil Vizcaino #26 would come in to get the last 5 outs and close out the game.
Recardo Salazar #4 and Janior Montes Sr. #28 put on a double play clinic turning three of them in the contest. Clementes hitters recorded 12 knocks on the night with Dylan Heil #9, Recardo Salazar #4, Jake Whitlinger #1 and Steven Rodriguez #24 each recording 2 hits each. Dylan Heil recorded 4 stolen bases bringing his total up to 8 on the year. Janior Montes Jr. #86 also hits his 2nd home run of the young season.
